The Wanna Be Filmmaker

Life as a filmmaker is hard. I do have to remind myself at times that though I am stressed I am doing what I love. 

I am still in the process of applying for internships. I just applied to Warner Bros. yesterday. I checked Pixar yesterday for fun but usually they only have animator or computer program internships. When I checked yesterday though they had the editorial internship for this summer!! Basically I would get to work side-by-side real life editors at the Pixar company. I do however have to have a demo reel…so I need to finally do that. I won’t get excited about it because it would be a long shot basically I have just as good of a chance at winning the lottery.

Also, it was announced this past Tuesday that my junior class will have to pitch our senior thesis on Feb. 16th, so basically two weeks. My peers and I are absolutely terrified. I am also pitching for for the most sought out position of Director/Writer. I do have a script to pitch, but we need to have at least two or three…so…yeah…I’m kinda in trouble. 

I also have to finish Moses Cove this semester along with multiple other projects.

So basically this semester is a big one, wish me luck that I survive!
